WTB Vortex Spotter Angled Viper or Razor

I’ve found some decent new sales but just trying to see what else is out there. I’m anxious to compare by buddies razor to a viper if I can find one at a good price.

WTB Vortex Spotter Angled Viper or Razor

I tried that route but its in store only and I don't have one near me. I also tried getting sportsman's warehouse to price match that and they couldn't do it. Also tried academy too. Normally it would price match anywhere but not for that price.

WTB Vortex Spotter Angled Viper or Razor

I am looking for an angled spotter. Preferably an 85mm and must be a gen 2. I'd consider a Razor 65mm if the price was right. Let me know what you have. I will only use PayPal G&S. Currently in Louisiana but any Alaska guys that might have one, I can set up a pick up in Fairbanks from my buddy.

    Knife making

Having been an assistant for a knife maker when I was a teenager, I would get started with pre-made blades. We used Italian steel at varying grades depending on the use of the knife. This will get you started in the process and have a few great knives to grow from. It can be overwhelming to try...

    AUGUST IRON WILL GIVEAWAY!

I would use S125 on a Caribou hunt, aside from that a kodiak grizzly hunt is on my bucket list.

    Sitka - Help me pick!

Im actually in the same dilemma. If the thunderhead had pit zips I would have already ordered it. I have the jet stream as a normal outer shell. I'll probably go with thunderhead since its on sale right now.

    Tactical/Backcountry Fitness

I can tell you from last years I learned a lot about myself. I have always been in shape, weight lifting, elevated cardio 4 days a week and daily walks with the dog. I was in disbelief at how winded I was walking 1mi up and down hills the first day. Even by day 4 of mostly just glassing I did an...

Nalgene bottle or Hydration Bladder or Both?

I was going to use nalgenes as I always have but decided to try the platypus 3L and have been happy on the last few hikes I have had with it. It doesn’t have that bladder taste like most do. I have a nalgene that is just for drink mixes though.

    Marsupial Must Haves?

If you run a Garmin GPS I would go for the radio pouch. Ill be running a range finder pouch and radio pouch and it seems like it will be a great set up. I was going to go with the large zippered pouch for a phone but realized I can just store that one else where.

    Trekking poles a necessity?

I would absolutely recommend them. Especially if you’re a flat lander. No matter how fit you are they are amazing. I did a few hunts without them and tried them out on a hike and it changed everything. Being able to have support on down hill walks with a heavy pack is really the best feature...

In the market for a Ti or Aluminum Pot to boil & drink coffee from

The toaks pots and cookware are awesome. Snow peak also has some nice stuff. Most everything you can get on Amazon but I’m sure there are some affiliate links on here that sell them.

    Daypack/meat hauler on a budget!

Another for the Mystery ranch that’s on sale from Gohunt. Save a little more for something better. I’ve done budget gear and it gets you by but I’ve always been left wanting more. IMO The pintler is a great option for daypacks. You can find them used on the MR Facebook group as well as eBay. I...
