I'm heading up to Salmon to volunteer for capture/collaring efforts tomorrow for a few days. Did it last year and was hooked. Tons of opportunities for folks to step up. What project are you working on later this spring?

Don't think they're necessarily driving up prices but do generate a lot of money for wild sheep organizations and/or F&G to do captures, monitor populations, habitat improvement projects, etc.

Big fan of the wall pedestal mount. Shows off the animal a lot better and just gives the mount more overall depth. The back is not flush against the wall and can either be wrapped with extra cape or covered in leather. Personal preference there. Mine is covered with the cape. You can always add...

TOP: My buddy's ram from this year
BOTTOM: My ram from last year
Both taken within a 1/3 of a mile from each other on the same mountain. When he drew this tag, I told him I know a good area. Scouting yielded solid results and it was game on for the 2nd consecutive year.

He had to turn down a dozen others! Great guy. I got to pack a hind quarter and felt lucky to get that! Good group of fellas.
