It still hit the riser pad torquing left, right, thumb on/off, etc. However, I rotated all my arrows to have the cock vane facing out, and what I thought was them flying poorly when I tried this previously was the arrow I took out of the rotation. They are flying consistently enough that a...
Sounds like I'm just torquing it then, gonna give what Yobrevol said a go. Pretty embarrassed I'm just torquing it that badly, but still a good learning process.
This is the best picture at could get, at full draw the string seems like its off to the left relative to the cam. On the bottom cam, there's some serving wear, but its not obvious and I can't get a picture at full draw. I put a level against the cams and measured at the top, d loop, and...
When the bow was tuned, it was shooting bullet holes to answer @Yobrevol . I glanced up and the string isn't in line with the cam, bad enough that the serving is being moved by the edge of the cam. I took the bow to the local Hoyt shop, which has generally good reviews, they told me the cam...
Hope these help. Looking from the back, right vane hitting the rubber riser pad. I put some white athletic tape on the pad and had orange lines running across it, all my arrows hit. Way I’m reading the tape my center shot is off?
I understand. It does lift a smidge at rest but nothing at draw, I don’t know how I missed that. The more and more I think about it, it’s not outlandish that something got bumped during travel. Would slight contact on the vanes cause an obvious fishtail?
You are right, hitting the rubber shelf pad. Best I can tell by myself right now, arrow appears to be just below the top of the Berger. I haven’t been able to measure the center shot just yet, though. I could see that being an issue. Again, while if I’m really tired the torque exacerbates it...
So, I've gone through as many old threads as I could, but I'm no longer sure what the proper fix is. Bow and setup is: Hoyt Axius Alpha #2 cam, 67lb draw, 27.5 DL. Arrows: Easton Bowhunter 6.5 stock fletch of 3 Bully (Blaser) vanes, stock insert, 28in CtC, 100 grain tip, 406 grains +/- going...
Newbie resurrecting an old thread. Since you're considering going back did you like them and just not find the perfect set up? I'm currently going down the rabbit hole of getting some arrows done up and keep looking at the hybrids vs the max stealths. Been shooting blazers with annihilator...
Which Exo did you go with? I’ve been kicking around the sawtooth/pintler. Worn the MR fire packs for years, we all wear them a lot different than MR recommends, but I’m fairly certain I’d be fine. That being said, lots of good word on the Exo is hard to ignore.
Not sure if anyone is following this still, but I figured I’d throw my 2 cents in, take it for what it’s worth. I shot a whitetail this season with a 100gr Annihilator, total arrow weight 406. Lighter than I want but just getting into it. It was a close shot and I was pretty high in the tree...
