Not heard of stone creek chaps before. How hot is too hot for them? I have a set of turtle skins chaps that I really like for protection but they can be quite warm as well. Lots of guys like orvis chaps.
That's disappointing to hear thorns penetrated. I was hoping these would work for a warm weather upland hunting pant. I need them to stop sand plum thorns and not allow briars to grab.
I get that. Maybe one internal spotting scope and the other side be a flat pocket like the 1800 k3 to put smaller things. That would be helpful when 15s are in the top pocket.
What about two externally pleated pockets instead? Like the other packs and doesn't take up space inside the pack, especially with this being a smaller pack.
