Any of the big four jap brands are gonna be solid. Can am is expensive both to purchase and maintain. Polaris sucks. If I were you I'd decide what size motor you want, and what features, then just shop around for the best deal. You'll be happy with any of those four.
Do I think it should be a requirement? No. Would I trust people enough to go hunting in crowded woods with rifles being fired off without wearing it personally? No. I trust people enough that I look both ways when I cross a one way street.
Got my first two suppressors yesterday. Other than the multiple trips to the shop for purchase, paperwork and certify, it was a smooth process. I certified on Saturday and got my approvals on Tues and Wednesday. So 3-4 days including the weekend.
Watching. I've been looking into a few of these safes for a while. I like the option of having a few safes mounted concurrently down a wall instead of one or two huge safes that are placed awkwardly in a corner. Unfortunately it just doesn't work for the layout of my home. Hopefully they offer...
Well said. There's no shortage of trophy class deer in our state, but as you said, public land gets hit hard. Pretty much every state on our border has huge expanses of public land. Most of ours are in the 2-4k acres. Wayne national forest and aep land is about the only spots that you can "get...
Good stuff. I love gheenoes. Grew up in Florida. If I built one I'd go front seating for the driver with stick steering. Very responsive, and being further forward will help with scanning while you drive and balancing the weight. Plus stick steer is a blast when you just want to get out and...
Haven't read the thread you're referring to, but kydex is very easy to heat up and adjust the retention. I wouldn't let that sway your purchase if it works for your purposes otherwise.
Th Barn in Gahanna, OH. Just outside Columbus. Food is amazing. A little pricey, but not terrible for what it is. Wasn't sure if you had a budget.

This might be an exception. One of the few large tracts of public land. Good to know it's less pressured. I love hunting here, but most of our public land is on the small side, especially considering how much public land our surrounding states offer.
Not anymore. Unless you're planning on hunting early or late archery. Second half of October through end of November, our public land is crawling with hunters. Then our gun week, extra gun weekend and muzzleloader follow. Also very crowded.
I use a bipod with the legs closed like a monopod. It allows me to pivot the rifle to scan while keeping my body more stationary. Less movement. If a longer shot presents itself, it's easy to open the legs for a more sturdy rest. For daytime I just typically sit in a turkey chair and shoot off...
More often than not a puupy isn't going to be much of an issue with an older dog. I've been through this several times and I've come to the conclusion that young puppies just typically don't bring out the worst in a dog the way that bringing home an older dog would. With rescues, you definitely...
