    Sitka timberline pro

I heard the old timberlines will be discontinued. The endure pant uses the same material as the old timberlines and has vent zips, but no waterproofing panels. Basically the old mountain pants with vents. Has anyone tried the first lite lined 308 pants? I thought about trying to kuiu guide pros...

    Durston X-Dome 2

Good write-up! If you didn't have a dog, would you go for the 1+ x-dome? I have heard the 1+ does better in the wind. I am looking at using this tent for elk hunting.

Sig HDX 12 vs 16 (42 mm not the Pro)

Field of view is important, but so is the exit pupil for lower light. This is why Sig needs a 10x42. Handholding the Sig 14x50 compared to my NL Pure 10x42 is a dream.

    NL Pure 12’s or 14’s

I thought about doing zulu6 12’s for chest and 14s on the tripod. I have nl10x42 and they are a bit shaky to handhold and judge animals even close.

Mach 33 vs Levitate for "budget" back up

A guy can really get some deals picking up lightly used archery equipment. Levitate is a wonderful bow and I shot it since it came out. The levitate is faster with that shorter brace height as well. I just seem to group a little better with the 33. Hunting wise, I could pick up either one…

    ChatGPT virtual scouting assistance

It’s all about the prompt you put in with any AI. If your prompt is correct you’re able to look at mapping software and pick out spots as well. Hunters still have to get there and know how to hunt.

    Victory HLR Reviews?

I’m considering the HLR but wondering if I will have too much FOC to get to my desired total arrow weight. I could add wraps/lighted knocks but typically I don’t worry about that.

Mach 33 vs Levitate for "budget" back up

I have a levitate with E2 and Mach 33 with EC2 cams. The Mach 33 seems to be much more stable and I shoot better groups at distance. Also I went from 70 to 75 lb limbs on Mach 33 because the cam is much smoother. I’ve shot the levitate once since I bought the mach 33.

Sig HDX 12 vs 16 (42 mm not the Pro)

In the pro line the 14s were much better than the 16 on a cloudy. I wonder when they will build a 10x42.
