    Burying a skull in SoCal

That's a very generous offer -- thank you. However, I love a good DIY so I'm gonna try this out in my yard and see what happens. That being said, if I dig it up months down the road to no success, I may give you a yell:)

    Burying a skull in SoCal

Has anyone in the Southern California area ever used the burying method to clean a deer skull? I'm trying it because I'm into the patina look. My question is: for how long? I know the answer to this depends on climate and soil type, so that's why I'm specifically curious if anyone in SoCal...

    Tikka UPR Love

Probably late to the game here but I put an area 419 ARCALOCK 10" Flat Universal Dovetail Rail on mine and it worked gangbusters. Extended out a little from the end of the stock which worked out great. I used the swivel stud hold and the action screw hole IIRC and it fit perfectly.

    Centerfire handloads for Small Game?

I like to hunt rabbits with a rifle. I find it way more rewarding than a shotgun. I 100% understand that the .22LR is king of rabbit hunting, BUT here's my conundrum: out here in CA, there's a lead ammo ban -- which in every other cartridge, I'm 100% on board with because mono's are the tits...

    Images: Hunting with KRG Bravo

I'd really like to shoot an NRL hunter but there's none in my immediate area and I'm lazy. I do shoot PRS with it. With the Razor on top it comes in close to 12lbs, which is heavy for a hunting rifle and very light for PRS. It's a 6.5 Creedmoor so the recoil isn't bad but it just forces you...

    Images: Hunting with KRG Bravo

😂Tell me about it! You're not the first person to give me s*** about it. It's actually the 4-27 and it's heeeeaaaavy. I bought if for comp shooting (this is also my comp gun) but it was the only quality scope I had at the time that I could rely on out in the field. I've since procured an LHT...

Eberlestock F1 Mainframe (Tall), 2 x Batwings, 4000ci Zip-on Dry Bag, Bolt Rifle Scabbard (all FDE color). Used for 2 hunting seasons -- has a few stains but other than that it's in perfect condition. These things are built like tanks. Really loved the modularity and versatility, but trying...

New to scopes, how to approach weight and magnification needs?

Agree with this in full. That being said, if you think you might open it up in range down the line, it might be worth considering other options. I love a good FFP scope but that's only because I got used to them in comp shooting.

I've done a couple of Venmo deals on the hide. Seems to be accepted there so I'm assuming safe. Zelle also.

    What’s your rifle weigh?

Tikka UPR. Often overlooked. Stock is dope, rocks CTR mags, reasonably lightweight. Great value.
