    Chest Rig for bowhunting?

I ran a badlands xr pack this past season. While I liked the fit/finish and never had an issue with it hitting my strings I didn’t like having all the bulk on my chest since I one stick and need to get close to the tree when moving up. It’s up for sale if anyone is interested. $120 shipped. I...

What’s you’re draw weight vs Age

60lbs at 27.5” 28 years old. I’m comfortable shooting this weight and it gets the job done so I’m not going hurt myself going to a heavier weight

308: Is It Making a Comeback??

308 has always seemed popular to me but I have noticed the ammo is usually in stock whenever you go including Walmart so that could be a driving factor. 223/556 has been fairly limited locally for the past 2 years

You like your truck camper shell for Hunting?

Camper shells are great for lots of uses and keeping everything dry and secure. Only downside is not fitting taller items like an Atv. If you don’t mind hauling a trailer or can rig up a lift in the garage to remove it by yourself then there’s no reason to not get one! Keep an eye on fb...

How much hunting does your wife let you get by with?

Well I was working a Thursday-Sunday shift so I got all day Monday-Wednesday to hunt. Downside was working 4-10s and getting home at 5 so couldn’t hunt any evening I worked. This year I went Monday-Friday and get home at 3 so I’m thinking I’ll be doing a lot of evening hunting. She’s usually...

    Trapping success pics

My first coyote the first day I set the traps. Unfortunately I only caught a fox and opossums since then. I started late deer season and it seems like end of November most animals move to the neighboring property because I see very little animal movement as compared to earlier in the season the...

Best jackets for everyday wear and hunting!!

I’ve enjoyed my Huntworth jacket and for the price and quality it’s hard to beat. Only downside is they only come in camo patterns and I’m not a big camo in public type guy so I only wear them when I’m in the woods

    Bait for DP traps

I’ve had good luck with just tuna in oil. Heard a lot of people make a trail mix of cheap cat food and mini marshmallows. Bought the stuff but haven’t had the time to be checking them daily so I haven’t tried it out yet.

    Looking buy a used pack!

Depending on how soon you’re needing it keep an eye on kuiu. They run big sales throughout the year on their packs and they’re high quality. Not sure what your budget is but the venture 1800 can be had for $100 or so and the the venture 2800 for about $150
