WTS Vortex 15x56

Used one season. I glassed with these side by side with the 1k Kaibabs, and there was almost no difference. Great on a tripod and not bad hand holding either. $300 TYD

CO transitioning deer?

The bigger bucks will still be living at higher elevations:8-10k, as it takes quite a bit of snow to motivate them to leave. However, there are resident deer in many low elevation areas. So you can probably turn up a decent buck in the burn

I think your safest bet is to cut them at the base, boil the skull, pin and reattach the antlers with epoxy.

That’s a great point. At the very least, it should in theory extend the timeline for getting the rack home and to your taxidermist.
