Thanks, if that's the case regarding durability for all 3, I might look elsewhere.
I have some stuff from Voormi, which uses a proprietary merino/synthetic blend, and I feel that especially their higher weight stuff is pretty durable. But I also have a 100% merino First Lite hoodie that seems...
Thanks for your thoughts.
If you had to choose one, which do you think is better, the 330, or the 220?
Also, how durable do you feel the 330 is?
If I get one of these, I'm leaning towards going with the 330. I'm also wondering what the reviews in general are on the 330 Half-Zip, versus the...
Out of curiosity, besides the sleeves on the 330 being absurdly long, were there other issues with it?
And is there any feedback somewhere on the 220 Half-Zip yet?
I'm somewhat wary of the longevity of the 120 weight, even if it's "ArmorSpun" merino and nylon.
I have these, although I haven't had a chance to test them yet. I like the full-length side zippers, more pockets compared to the Storm Shell Pants, and the removable bib portion is versatile.
Like I said, I haven't had a chance to test them yet, but they seem pretty awesome.
Looking for an XL Kryptek Vellus Jacket in Wraith (aka Yeti), since I was unable to get one before they went out of stock.
Also, if you have any suggestions on where I might be able to find an XL Size Kryptek Vellus Jacket in Wraith, or where I can post more WTB ads for my search, let me know...
Darn Tough is extremely popular. I don't have any yet, but I plan on getting some for my next socks, if just for the warranty.
I have some Kuiu socks, and while I like them, some of them are wearing out. They were expensive, and I don't think they have a warranty like Darn Tough.
Hi all,
I was unable to get an XL Kryptek Vellus Jacket in Wraith (aka Yeti) before they went out of stock, so I'm looking for one now.
I'm trying to get my post count up, so that I can post a WTB ad in the Classifieds section, but other than Rokslide, any suggestions on where I might be able...
I have a Cabela's ECWCS Thermal Zone Baselayer, and it gets pretty damn warm. It has different zones for different areas, and I think it's made with Polartec material.
For merino/synthetic hybrid material I like Voormi's stuff.
I like Voormi's baselayers. They use a merino/synthetic blend that's supposed to offer the best of both worlds, and they come in different thicknesses that could be used as a baselayer, such as Ultralight, and Baselayer thicknesses. And sometimes I'll just wear a Voormi Midlayer as a baselayer...
For everyday purposes I'd suggest the Vollebak Off Grid Dyneema Shell, since the material is tough, and it's dipped in water repellent, so it hopefully would last for life. It seems hard to find a rainshell that is tough, with lasting water repellency. Also, it's got good pockets for holding...
I have these, and I like them. Very lightweight. The pockets are kind of low like on cargo pants, and I wish they had some higher up too, like on the Kutana Gale Force Pants.
Hi all,
I'm looking for quality Rain & Snow Gear, especially pants with full-length zippers, so I'm compiling a list of all the Rain & Snow Gear Companies out there.
This is the list I've got so far, primarily from other threads here:
Kuiu
First Lite Seak
Sitka
Badlands
Arc'teryx LEAF
Outdoor...
