    I don’t know why I’ve never owned a SWFA before. They’re optically as good as I need and on par with zeiss conquest v4 and leupold vx3hd. I’ll definitely be buying more when I’m in the market for a new scope.

    I’m more than likely going to purchase another to replace a vx3 I have on my 243 after I get my 3-9 tomorrow and check it out. I might just go with a 10x for the 243 tho

    I bought the 3-9, I wanted a 6x but am impatient. I’m glad I didn’t do the 3-15 for the reasons you stated, the 3-9 should be plenty and I may replace the Leupold that I have with a 10x

    Thought about it real hard but also at the end of the day I wanted a slightly smaller scope profile and most my shots will be 200 yds and under with this rifle maybe stretching to 400 on occasion.

    I’ve never had an issue with my Leupold scopes either but this was a new rifle so wanted to try something new. I don’t like the idea of shooting really close on a straight 10x so I ordered the 3-9 yesterday.

    I have a set of DNZ burnt bronze mounts for an x bolt, not sure the height but are 1 in tube. Came on a 6mm hells canyon long range that I bought with a 40 mm scope so I’m assuming medium height. Asking $25 obo shipped I also have 2 sets of Talley rings for an x bolt with 1 in tube medium...

    That’s what I’ve wanted to hear, it’s the one I wanted anyways, the rifle I want to put it on is a x bolt hells canyon 223 spr so I didn’t want a big scope.

    I don’t disagree on the Leupold, it’s just something I have to compare. I also agree on the magnification range that’s why I’m interested in both scopes not being a fixed power scope. I’m glad to hear you’ve never had a turret move on the 3-9 I think I’ll get one of those
