without redoing everything youve done... No that is a post and beam style construction. those would be set. then T&G installed then insulation board on top of that then roofing panels. you insulate out instead of in like you have currently
Today was our last day of woodcock hunting this year. We got to hunt with some new friends. We ended up moving 5 before they left.
Took the girls out and we found 1 more, all was good until we all took a swim and learned a few lessons.
Don't trust the log
The creek is ALWAYS deeper than it...
A suppressor adds 4-6". Making a 24-26" barrel. It gets hung up more moving through the thick stuff. It's not any more accurate than the 16". Both balance well.
All i gotta say is that's a pour choice of a name. I was scrolling and thought it said cumbum.
Thought it was one of them TikTok hunter girls looking for a new platform.
ive shot 180 Hornady whitetail for years. always done the job. this year i shot a buck facing me at about 120 yards. pulled shot slightly and missed the frontal. Hit ribs and bullet ended up in hip socket. the bullet had separated from the jacket. I think it was due to the way the bullet hit...
What did the gunsmiths do to the gun? What ammo are you using? Are you fully cycling the lever? Hard and fast, or slow and easy? Mine doesn't cycle great unless you really slam it open and closed fast.
Saw a guy today carrying two chainsaws... but didn't look like he was the kind of guy thay would be using them, just selling them if you know what I mean.
I was picked up once by a guy in a convertible BMW. Me and a buddy were grouse hunting with my dog and got on a closed forest service road...
I use prime for damn near everything but groceries. You can usually put a product number in and they have it. Sometimes a dollar or two more but you can get it in two days vs a week or more. You can also find stuff you'd never be able to find locally.
I did notice that stuff that was usually 2...
First ruffed grouse out of state, at the first place I had picked on the map within 15 minutes of starting a 9 day hunting trip. Was the first wild bird contact my puppy had. It all just kinda fell into place with this one, and it is a BIG bird. It's getting mounted now, I wish I would have kept...
No pictures of birds today although we shot a couple and found a whole lot. Didn't pull the phone out until we put the puppy on the ground and shotguns up. Hunting costal SC was a new experience for us. We also ran into a couple of these little guys that made us snatch up the puppy and head...
I've helped pack out a deer that I knew I wouldn't get any of. And wouldn't expect it. But on the flip side I knew those guys would be there if I needed help. If I went out west with buddies all the guys I would go with/take would be under the same understanding that ALL the meat from the trip...
I've got the pyke and first light pants
Hands down I go with the pyke time after time they are just thick enough to bust most briers in the southeast without being so hot you don't want to wear them
Finding out that we will finally have a child (have had several miscarriages along our journey) , getting to spend 10 days bird hunting out of state with my best friend, shooting my biggest buck in the stand that I first hunted whitetail in with my best friend.
Picked up some early times. I'd say it's good for a mixer didn't like it straight. I also got some new riff. That is some good stuff.
And since everyone taste is different I think Buffalo trace is to sweet.
Really been liking all the heaven hill stuff lately
