I had ordered 2 boxes of slick tricks and none of the heads would screw into any of my arrows. I didn't know until I tried using them outside of my return window. I had ordered them from amazon.
No, I understand that aspect, I was just wonder if there is any difference when using the slider sights. Maybe I am just over thinking this lol! I had them impacting the same using the other sight. I guess thinking about it more, it's the same process.
I had my bow setup and broadhead tuned and decided to change things up. I switched to a Fast Eddie 3 pin slider. I have yet to sight it in and am excited about doing so. The thing is, this is my first slider sight, and I am curious about if there are any differences in the broadhead tuning...
Not trying to hijack the thread. Without getting to beat up here, what types of terrain/map features does everyone look for on a map when finding areas to look at? Ridges, saddles, depressions, ect. I am just trying to learn. Thanks.
I do jiu jitsu during the week mixed with mma and striking classes. Next month, I'll break out the pack and start hiking. I should have pretty decent cardio by Sept. Although, the altitude will get me because I am in Ohio.
After more research, I did go with the Xtherm. Thank you for the suggestion. Once I put it in my cart I ended up with a 25 percent discount so that was a nice surprise.
I'll have to take a look at that. I am looking for a decent price without going too high end as this will be used for this coming Sept trip. I don't see it getting to much use after that until another trip out west.
Does anyone have any experience with this sleeping mat? Seems like a good deal and what reviews I have found are pretty good. There just aren't many of them.

I used FL furnace base layers, the milwaukee then the catalyst jacket and uncompaghre. That got me down pretty low in temps. I have upgraded to the solitude set this year so I don't see myself needing the milwaukee much. I will continue to use it around town.
I have used the Milwaukee Heated Jacket the past 2 seasons, I also have their heated hand muff they used to make. Both have helped me when it got down really cold.
Thanks all! I am just trying to finish off my system with a couple more pieces to help me get through the later season. I am good from early through mid season. Later season is where I am mainly stand hunting and sitting.
I am wondering what temps I could conceivably sit comfortably at with either of these. I do have the first lite furnace base layers and the kuiu guide dcs jacket and pro pants. I will be using this during whitetail season in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. This would be in late december...
Some companies offer financing/payment plans. For example Kuiu. You'd be able to have the pack without a huge hit to the wallet all at once. Just something to consider.
This is all new to me...I'm a long time hunter 35+years and this is a bucket list hunt for me. Although this is my first time, hopefully it won't be my last. I was stationed at Ft Carson back in the late 90's so I am aware of the altitude but have only been skiing there in the past. I will take...
