no, that would be the hunting forum section of this website. The general discussion forum, where this was posted, is literally for things other than hunting. take a scroll and check out the hundreds of other non hunting related topics.
Using a photo from google because it shows my dilemma better than the photos I tried taking myself. Is it possible to lay ceramic tile over a concrete “slope” like this? Or do I need to level the floor before tiling. Any advice is appreciated.
Negative. I bought SOME material, they had to buy an additional $800 worth, including markup. This fella that I replied to seemed like he implying I had tried to do it myself then hired someone to fix it.
I think were getting away from my original question, I asked if it was unreasonable to get an itemized list of the $800 worth of materials I paid for to go in my home. I never said it was easy either, in fact I said there were some unusual things I wanted a professional to handle. I also never...
yeah I dont have an issue with the labor costs. But if I paid $800 for materials I would at least like to know what I just purchased to put in my home and how it all added up. Some sort of evidence showing you didnt just pull a number out of your arse because you thought you could pull one over...
When I started asking questions about the price break down he interrupted me to say "I can tell price is an important factor for you" yeah no shit sherlock. I walked out of the store shortly after that comment.
Having too many people lined up willing to pay $125 an hour and a mark up on materials is not like friends bugging you to come volunteer your time and help out. the more you work the more you make. high demand comes with its benefits if youre willing to strike while the iron is hot.
It also blows my mind that when you call a plumber, electrician, flooring installer, etc. they act like they are annoyed that you are calling and wanting to hire them for a job. I get your busy but since when did too much work become such a burden for you. seems like a good problem to have. one...
I hear ya. I also got a quote for a carpet install in a ~1000 sq foot finished basement. $19,000 total installation and material for carpet that was about $3.50 a sq foot... I decided to install vinyl planks myself for a fraction of that cost. When did everything get so damn expensive
I tore out old vanities, put in new floors and bought new vanities. I placed the vanities in the bathrooms (2 of the 3 did not "match up" with previous fittings and one of them was a double sink going in where there had previously been a single sink). I had the new faucets sitting on top of the...
Im not sure if im just naive to the plumbing industry or if im getting screwed by a plumber I just hired. I hired a plumber to hook up 3 new vanities in a house im remodeling. I probably could have done this myself but time is running out and there were some unusual things I wanted a...
Getting ready to set up turkey camp in a few days (wall tent right off a FS road) and I have a dutch oven taking up storage space thats never been used. I cooked with them as a kid in boy scouts but havent since. Anybody have good recipes for over a camp fire/using coals?
nothing wrong with an apple watch... a lot of good functions for hunting, hiking, etc.
I just use the customizable photo face and have a few good scenery/hunting photos that it cycles through.
most counties have a tab on their website with a county road map. Some are very nice GIS interactive maps, others just a PDF. These have been extremely helpful in the past. BLM also has a lot of easements across private to access BLM parcels, these wont show up on county road maps or onx. Best...
