    Benelli/Franchi “Click”?

Has it been out long enough to see real world corrosion resistance? I hunt the salt marshes of NJ. The stoeger m3500 I got 10 years would get so badly rusted after each trip, I sand blasted most of it and repainted and covered in epoxy clear.

As some one who loves wool and believes in it, it's not packable and weighs 5x what modern clothing does. I love my wool bibs and shirtjack, but those 2 garments fill up an mystery ranch beartooth 80. Where as my puffy packs down to a 32oz waterbottle and weight 1lb. When I track in the...

    Are we really hunting?

I own and have used a crossbow to shoot deer. I'm against it being the same as archery because it's not. It's a gun that shoots an arrow. I actively encourage my dad to use a crossbow because it's so much easier. He wont get busted standing. He wont get busted drawing. He wont get tired...

    Are we really hunting?

Hence, why fish and game reviews and adjusts seasons, and bag limits, and tags allocated. But asking for them to differentiate archery vs crossbow is taboo?

    Are we really hunting?

It's obviously hyperbole, noted by calling it a crossgun and not crossbow. However, why do we turn a blind eye to something that is drastically different then it's predecessor? The overwhelming onset of crossbows should be worthy of investigation. 70% of the archery population rapidly changing...

    Are we really hunting?

As someone who lives and hunts in a baiting allowed state, it's just another way to do it. I haven't shot a buck over bait in 4+ years. Have had more success and encounters not over bait, but there are properties I hunt that would be useless without bait. Cell cams havent changed anything...

    Benelli/Franchi “Click”?

I always wanted a super vinci, shame they stopped making that model. Why do you want the change? I'm picking up an M2 after the first of the year.

    Benelli/Franchi “Click”?

When I got my stoeger m3500 first thing I was told to do was go skeet shoot with 1 1/4 duck loads and work in some cheap turkey or duck 3.5 magnums to break in the inertia spring. The 3500 comes with a 'recoil reducer' lug in the stock, it will absorb a good bit and not cycle 2 3/4 7/8oz...

    Kuiu sold?

I belive his quote was something like 'i dont make clothing for fat people or women; they dont know how to hunt' yeah, I think that vision was rejected a long time ago.

    Best raffle you ever won

Ducks unlimted raffles have pretty good odds. I recently won and successfully took a doe with a Weatherby vanguard talos in .300 wby. Put a nice scope on it and got it ready for shooting up to 300 yards... got ancy and took it for a walk and shot a doe at 26 yards. Im much for of an iron...

As a wool wearer, I just looked up king of the mountain wool... that's crazy. No way can that be worth it any aspect. If you are looking to get into wool, big bills wool pants ($125) is a great value or the LL Bean guide pant ($175) or new kids on the block STAGR Gear stride pant ($200). Very...

    Pennsylvania Deer Camp

Valid opinion, although I don't feel the same about potential rifle hunters complaints (as someone who only rifle hunts PA) Rifle hunters kill 60% of the total harvest (476,000 total harvest) Archery kill 35% for the total harvest, yet they kill the same amount of bucks at 85,000 a piece. IMO...

    Pennsylvania Deer Camp

That's so crazy to me that PA has 1 buck tag for the year and not 1 archery and 1 rifle at a minimum. We hunt the SGL's around Toby, it's loaded with bear and coyote sign, lacking for deer I find, also it's just to flat for my liking, I prefer ridges. I only do the opening weekend. Im across...

    Pennsylvania Deer Camp

Last year it was a high of 14 in the pocono's, already had a layer of snow on the ground that was frozen and any movement was super loud and was forced to sit and wait. Much more looking forward to this years forecast.

    Pennsylvania Black Bear

Hey!! Dont leave little NJ out of this! Lots of those PA brutes were border bears. I always laugh when NJ guys pay guides $3-5000 to go to Maine or Canada to shoot a 150# bear

Raccoon bait for dog proof traps

Yes. golf ball on top. 1. It stands out and draws the eye 2. It some rain out of the trap and the bait lasts longer I would not use cat food, I would use my comment above. Oats and corn mixed with vanilla and molasses, maybe forgoe the sardines if you have a lot of cats, but racoons do love...
