Being from Missouri, I think Kansas does it better than we do. Just my personal opinion, but I don't think we should be able to kill 2 bucks in Missouri. I think one is plenty and it would also make us (Missourians) more picky about what bucks we shoot and fewer 2 1/2 yo bucks would be killed.
In this situation I have to say shoulder mount. Its her first deer, she doesn't already any other shoulder mounts. Unless a person just prefers euro over shoulder then I think you should shoulder mount it.
I would rather waterfowl hunt than anything else. I love it. I live and hunt in NW Missouri. Basically only hunt private ponds and ag fields. Since having 2 kids at home I don't get out near as much as I used to but still love it.
I run Dakota duck decoys and FA full body geese. My calls...
I have only run my 5000 Fury HDs for one season here in Missouri so far, but so far I love them. I can't wait to get out west and use them out there in the future. Like mentioned above I really like that I don't have to put the binos down to range after looking at it.
I am a thicker fellow also, and I have really enjoyed my MR Metcalf. I haven't had a chance to pack a lot of heavy loads just a couple of deer. But so far I have really enjoyed it.
Mine is in the garage like this, but definitely not that organized looking. I don't have a bench under mine, but have totes of all of my scent free clothes.
I’m looking at getting a new scan light (headlight) for nighttime coyote hunting. I’m looking at the night eyes HL08, Predator Tactics Lantern, or the Wicked ScanPro iC gen2. Any thoughts or recommendations?
