I'm just wondering if this ever got resolved. I'm looking at a rangefinder for archery and rifle hunting, and that angle compensation is really handy. So is it just a matter of waiting 2 seconds?
Maybe I just need to head over to Cabelas and check it out.
Great video once again! It has been fun to watch your videos over the past few years. I'm originally from Eastern WA, so it's nice to see some old stomping grounds!
I hunt around the Hayden area, and I can confirm your moose sightings there. However in the past few years, traffic (motor) has gotten pretty thick. You really have to go out there to find a place with some peace and quiet.
Thanks for posting this. I’ve used kitlender for a backpacking/fishing trip in Alaska before and was wondering if such a thing existed for hunting gear.
I'm interested in these thoughts as well, I keep hearing that N. Georgia is a great place to find bears but then I'm surprised by a lack of outfitters...
I like this a lot. I wonder if you could combine some of the other suggestions on here and fill your PVC rack with water and then freeze it. You would need to have some drains to keep things sanitary after use, but I might give that a try myself.
Governor’s Gun Club in Kennesaw is pretty good. If there is something special you want done and they can’t do it, they’ll outsource it to a reputable person (a guy called the gun doctor comes to mind)
Congrats on an awesome hunt, definitely a story to remember.
As has been mentioned, treat this like chicken which needs to be cooked above 160-165f.
Good luck on the next one!
