Reliable & Affordable Scopes! Your go to is?

I snapped off a bolt on a Leupold mount after over tightening it and they replaced at no cost.

    Thinking New hunting truck

Took a buddy's Tacoma when we went to Wyoming last year. Did just fine on two-tracks.

    "pretty" rifles

Wood stocks will come back in style. Pendulum has swung so far to the "tactical" look that wood will become cool again. These things are cyclical.

    Solid color guys...

Coyote tan or similar seems to blend in decent just about anywhere. Best thing I've found for blending in to cedar trees coyote hunting is my dirty, cow manure covered, green Carhartt chore coat.

    Mismatch Camo

Not sure if I'm trustworthy or not since my camo never matches but have been known to wear a flat bill.

Arc'teryx is owned by a Chinese compay. "In January 2001, Arc'teryx was purchased by the Adidas-owned Salomon Group.[3] In May 2005, Amer Sports purchased the Salomon Group from Adidas.[4] Since 2019, the Amer Sports Corporation is owned by the Chinese Anta Sports group."...

    Black Rifle Coffee NYT Comments

The only reason to ever agree to an interview with the NYT is either you want to appeal to their readers or you're woefully naive. So which one is it? Considering he was a CIA contractor I would bet it's not the latter. Marketing with "Coffee, guns, whisky, and bikini snaps" is not...

    DIY gun stock finish

I've used the webbing paint in the past too and it worked very well. Definitely practice first though so you can get the angle right and get the pattern you want.

    Coyote Call Recommendations?

I replaced my Foxpro Wildfire with a Revolt last year. I like the remote a lot better, but I've heard great things about the new Foxpro remote as well. It seems to be a little lower build quality than Foxpros, but have had zero problems with it. The thing is very bulky, but definitely gets loud...

Why does anyone lease hunting land

We have a private spot for duck hunting, and some days we would probably kill more on some of the public ground, but being able to just show up, throw out some decoys, and drink coffee without fighting 10 other groups for the good spot only to have them shoot your swing ducks is priceless.

    Leupold Mark 3HD

Sounds about perfect. I don't dial for coyotes generally, but it's nice to have the option when they hang up. Plus it would be a good thing to have when occasionally popping prairie dogs.

    Leupold Mark 3HD

I have the 2-7 VX-R on it right now. thinking a 4-12 with offset red dot. I really like the VX-R, but would kind of like a little more magnification on the top end. The glass in my VX-Freedom is clearer than the VX-R IMO, although the VX-R seems better constructed. Would add the offset red dot...

    Leupold Mark 3HD

Does anyone have experience with these? Seem to be the VX 3HD with mil turrets from what I've read. Considering the illuminated 4-12 for my coyote AR.

    New Guy From Iowa

Hunted Wyoming Pronghorns last fall for the first time. Saw more Wisconsin plates than public land antelope but am hooked on Western hunting now.
