You're scouting for game on military installations?
I really liked my old $700 Parrot Anafi. The Blue version built for the army is good, too but at $15,000 it really needs to be. I'm also a fan of Freefly for larger airframes.
Land surveying is a good option if you get an associates or bachelor's degree for it and plan to get a professional license. Unlicensed party chiefs aren't making six figures where I live. If you can pass the license tests in multiple states, you can enable a company to pursue work across a...
I've killed one whitetail with a .277 bullet, but most with .358s in different weights out of multiple cartridges. The .358 is my favorite diameter because "what's life without whimsy?" Really every rifle caliber from .223 to .510 is exactly the same. They all kill. Dead is dead. Lots of threads...
The average age of a PLS is early 60s. 40 years of being told you're wrong by people who don't understand that measurements have tolerances will wear you down.
Try to get PMs to send you on site visits with field crews for the projects you're working on. Work with the PLS reviewing the surveys and let them know you'd like to help with any of the survey office work you can on your projects and learn how it works because you're interested in getting...

I wish the 28 gauge single shot came in a 20" barrel with a wooden stock and interchangeable chokes.
If I'm going on a backpack hunt, I'm usually pretty prepared and pack those. This is mostly for my typical quick morning or evening sits where I'll drag a gutted deer less than a mile to my truck and drop it off at the local processor as a donation to the food bank.
I'm tired of forgetting pens or zip ties, only having one rubber glove, not being able to find my knife, etc. when I have some unexpected free time to run out for a quick hunt. This week I put together a couple vacuum-packed Lightweight Field Dressing Kits to put in each of my hunting bags and...
I don't see this as arrogant. A lot of times a defendant will wait months for a court date only to have it moved back while prosecution works to build a case. These things can go on for years and most of the time a defendant will just want it to be over so the waiting and wondering can end.
