+1 for Black Ovis. I use an AZ EZ Fletch to fix those I damage. Couldn't justify the price of the saw and square when my local shop only charges a dollar to cut and square an arrow.

N. GA here too. I saddle hunt and go with either knee high Irish Setter snake boots and shorts casue its so freaking hot early season or I wear a pair of Salomon GTX 3s if I'm not going too far off the beaten path.

Another +1 for bulldog. I shoot a lot and started to get near pass thrus in the center after about a year. I submitted a warranty claim and they sent out a new target face the next day. I paid shipping... so $10 for a new target. 2 finger pull. Love it!

I bought and started using Exodus this year too so no longer term/use experience. My decision was to go with the fulls because I felt they'd be easier to re-sharpen given I'd have more material to clamp onto. Haven't got to re-sharpening yet but am happy to have it hitting with my FPs out to 60...
I think so. My own skill of producing sound would be more of the limiting factor versus what the tube can produce. I don't call a ton but did get a bull to come in using it last year. It came in silent and then bolted.

Butt pad... yes sir. A camp comfort. I typically run binos off my knees or trekking poles. My brother keeps his tripod and spotting scope in the truck which is typically where it stays.
Its a Phelps tube. Amazon special included in a "Phelps Crucial Elk Calliny Kit". With the 550 cord I added...
Bought myself a new Plano 108110 case this year. Havent traveled with it yet but its solid and I have no concerns putting it on a plane this fall.

I started carrying the Ooutdoor Edge 3.0 EDC this year. I field dressed and skinned 2 whitetail with it this fall. Worked great. On the 2nd deer I had forgotten my buck knife so actually attempted to cut thru the breast plate. A no go. Bent the blade but would have been shocked if hadn't. Love...
Great advice. Unless its more about the tinkering then just buy a few of each X product and figure out what works for you and allows you to confidently put meat in the freezer.

My Spot Hogg Wiseguy with a BOA strap comes in at 3.08 oz. Love being able to dial it in to perfect tightness and it does flip out of the way.

I re-entered bow hunting a few years back after being away for 20ish years. I read all the bow hunting buyers guide articles on huntersfriend.com and found it extremely educating. Here is one on bow pricing that might help you out...
Congrats on the buck. Love how white that skull turned out. Hopefully you've invested some of that bow savings into a good grinder or those processing fees will add up on yeah. Only 9 more does to go to tag out here in GA! [emoji1787]

Congrats on the elk. For my sausage I grind down a pork butt and add it at 1:3 ratio to game meat. Plenty of receipts out there. Recommend sampling it as you add your seasoning... one year I over seasoned about 15 ibs worth.
Love my Lem Big Bite Grinder. #5 0.35HP. All stainless steal and gets...
The article is from 2019 but specific to deer and elk licenses it states $38million from NR vs $7.6 million from residents.
