I have a small amount of money in fidelity’s sprxx fund. It is right around 5%. Used it to save for a down payment on a car and saving up now for some sort of real estate purchase in the next year or two. Sure beats the local bank savings account of .25% or what ever little amount it is
I have not but most of the time any sort of finishing shot is 2-5 yards away with something like a 30-30 or shotgun with slugs. I have seen a few shot with pistols but not nearly as many.
Any bear shot out of a tree we typically tell the shooter to aim for the head as well.
I black bear hunt and know a guy who was bit by a bear on his ankle. The bear was treed with hounds and shot as it decided to come down but likely a poor shot. He went after it with his pistol and ended up slipping down an embankment that the bear was at the bottom of. It bit him and he shot it...
In general it seems like checks were mailed in the last week or so. I’ve noticed dates from November into January. Maybe they just process them in batches
Interesting to see how many denials people have had. I emails through the contact us link yesterday and am waiting a response as it had been over 13 weeks and still “processing”
I did see a note on the website about needing a receipt with the serial number on it. I know my Cabela’s receipt did not and they would not provide one. Hopefully they are lenient on that requirement.
Has anyone gotten their rebate from tikka yet? If so how long did you wait and did you get any extra emails from them beyond the initial email stating they received it?
Of it depends on the state but I believe in Wisconsin the following applies.
I thought there were rules on shooting from a gravel road for grouse in northern Wisconsin but couldn’t find anything. I don’t do hunt them so it’s likely changed over the years. I have shorten towards a road here but...
New to suppressors here but wanting to get the process started on one. I am between the ultra 7 and the sycthe tI. Is one a clear winner or is a toss up and preference between the two?
Using it on a 7 rem mag tikka
I’m thinking of going through capital armory after reading some other threads.
Will cause more point creep for non residents. Probably stabilizes things for residents by a year or two before it creeps up again in low point units. Harder draws won’t change the point creep is my guess.
I tried to have a concrete room put in our house when we built. It’s entirely concrete except for the door and just above it for the floor trusses. I needed a reverse brick ledge to get it fully concreted in. The door was supposed to be sized for a vault but the concrete guy messed it up and...
Could it be that some of these raffles cover the taxes for you as well? Strange that they all don’t advertise the tax. My wife wouldn’t be very happy if I “won” a hunt and it still cost me 15000 plus transportation ect.
Not a fan of setting aside the tags for someone of a certain age. The chance to hunt the rams discussed here seems like it should be for every resident.
The wife and I just got a Hyundai Palisade and are liking it. Haven’t had it long enough to say good or bad yet but it seems nice. 10 year powertrain warranty is nice. 5 or 6 year 60k mile on the rest.
