    Good discussion here on both MR daypack options I’m looking at. A question for those that have the Sawtooth, will the Forager pouches fit on to the waist belt and function ok? MR website lists them as fitting “expedition” packs.

    You have got to get back on the horse the next day as your fitness/conditioning improves. Recovery exercise will get the blood moving through the big muscles and get the repair happening. Initially exercises that use the leg muscles in other combinations. Swimming, bike, rowing machine etc...

    Height and weight

    I reckon Larry is on to it. Height and weight stats (BMI) don’t give you a full or great picture of your conditioning. Body composition, body and visceral fat levels all come into play. At 56, 5’10”, 175lb and 16% fat. Next comes aerobic/ cardio fitness.
