    Had an amazing time. One of the best trips of my life. Had snow and super high winds early. Didn't end up with a goat but I'm ok with that. Came back with 2 nice foxes and a ton of memories.

    Thanks AK Troutbum....your experience is invaluable. My outfitter stated, in no uncertain terms, "do not bring Goretex raingear...it will not work on Kodiak." Are the Chugach goretex? I haven't done research on them. He recommended HH Impertech but I know they can be oppressively hot/not...
