I’ve used them for several years to put in for draws. Also booked 2 Alaska hunts with them. Never had a problem and I continue to use them.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I’ll look into the dock demons or a packable rod. Glad I could bring back a bit of nostalgia for a couple of you. [emoji16]

Anyone ever use a “pocket fisherman” on a back pack hunt? Heading to Alaska for caribou next month and the streams around my hunt area should have some grayling. Wondering if one of these rigs would be worth the hassle.

And there is no telling how much he contributed to her campaign.
Also, why wouldn’t the defendants lawyer just simply say to the DA….”show me the Law these fellas broke?”
How can someone be cited for a law that doesn’t exist?

There should be a laws stating that ONLY federal employees and contractors (firefighters, law enforcement, park officials, etc) can access landlocked public land until such time public access is established.
Had an amazing time. One of the best trips of my life. Had snow and super high winds early. Didn't end up with a goat but I'm ok with that. Came back with 2 nice foxes and a ton of memories.
Thanks AK Troutbum....your experience is invaluable. My outfitter stated, in no uncertain terms, "do not bring Goretex raingear...it will not work on Kodiak."
Are the Chugach goretex? I haven't done research on them. He recommended HH Impertech but I know they can be oppressively hot/not...
