Fun fact: over the last couple years I have learned that taking long hunting trips and having 3 kids under 5 at home are two things that don't really go well together.
Not really in the same category as a stihl or husky, but I have Echo cs310 that I have had for a number of years and it is great for light work around the house and when hiking a trail. Light weight and has always started great. I have a bigger husky, but the echo probably gets more use just...
I try not to go overboard. But I'd generally rather be the guy that carries a little extra than the guy that thinks he needs nothing and then has to borrow his buddies stuff all day in the field.
Less deer and more people. The deer being down was I think due to a different crop on the neighbors land and an early harvest. The more people was real frustrating because it is private property and those people were trespassing...
Anyway, the deer I did see where higher quality than I have...
As others have mentioned the size of the pack needed can really vary depending on time off year and what you personally NEED to stay comfortable.
I started out with a 3400 ci hiking backpack and a cheaper sleeping bag for cold weather and found that just the sleeping bag was taking up way to...

Also I agree with the above about bow hunting, here in Indiana...
For us it really depended on the kid. Our oldest trained real easy, but our middle child really struggled with it. They are 3 and 4.5 now and share a room which helps them with going to bed. But our 3 year old still comes to our room about 2 or 3 in the morning. We never let her sleep in our...
Hey all, FNG here from Central Indiana although I'm originally from northern MN and still claim that as my homeland...
Been whitetail and small game hunting since I can remember, and over the last few years I have started getting into backcountry Elk and Mule deer hunting out west. So far in...
2nd opinions are always good before a surgery as every injury and every person responds differently. But I had a bone spur growing on the end of my first metatarsal that caused a lot of joint pain on my big two.
I had surgery where they essentially cut off the end of my first metatarsal and...
