    Talked to a guy today at my local archery shop and during the conversation he stated the date to apply for elk preference points had passed. I have July 1st marked on my calendar and I think I confirmed it on Wyoming’s site. Am I too late?

    Trekking pole shelters

    When using trekking poles to set up your shelter do most leave the shelter up with the poles when leaving for the day to hunt? Do some of you loosen things up and remove the poles and leave the shelter in place so that you can use your poles?
