Two a couple inches apart right behind the shoulder, this was the final shot, went through the neck and shoulder, stopped in the hide on the far side. 112 Matchburner. Elk.
I have a 6mm-06, 27" barrel, and get 3200 fps with 112 Match Burners. 55 gr. 7977. Seems like a relatively mild load, has good brass life. I am planning on getting a 19" barrel for a different rifle, and am hoping on getting 3000 fps with it. So far I really like the cartridge. It is easy to...
I am a big fan of the mtn gear bipod. I've used it for a couple years now and have no complaints. Usually carry it on my bino harness. Quick to deploy and pretty rugged and sturdy considering what it weights.
I really like mine, wouldn't want to be without them. I also use the picatinny adapter and combined with a tripod for the rear is very stable. I use them year round for hunting and practice and have no complaints.

Shoots absolutely fantastic like every Tikka that I have owned.
With a pump, you are probably not going to be shooting extreme range. For a basic reliable scope, you can't go wrong with a Burris fullfield 3x9. Pretty economical and would pair up nice on a pump.
I love mine for general purpose use. For me they are just as comfortable as a more dedicated hiking boot. If they weren't so expensive I would use them as a work boot.
I love the kenetrek mountain extremes 400. I have had no issues whatsoever, and I use them from early to late seasons. They are the first serious hunting boot that I tried, and see no reason to switch to anything else.
I have used a Two Vets no name junior (looks like it has been replaced by the ruck) with an anvil 30 head for a couple years for both shooting and glassing and love it. It's around 4 lbs. combined. I also carry a mtngear bipod on my bino harness, just too many times hunting when you just can't...
Between my dad and I, we have had several toyota vehicles almost make it to the 500,000 mile mark. Dad currently has 3 toyotas, the van and tacoma both have close to 400,000 miles with nary a problem. I have also had great success with my...
Salmon River Solutions hunters arca is fantastic on a Tikka. Screws right on the factory swivel and mid screw on t3x stock, or I just drill through and use a nut and washer on the older style stock. Can't recommend them enough. Love their muzzle brakes also.
