I didn’t realize the bolts were interchangeable. That’s awesome. I can learn something new every day. Let us know how his build goes. I’m interested in doing this myself post some photos if you get her done.
Interesting I’ve never had mine time out. I was lucky enough to be able to build my own recoil sensor that I had a magnet and it never fell off my gun.
Although I did forget to arm the chronograph a few times collecting exactly 0 data for that string. 😆
Following this thread, to see how your build goes.
I’m doing a similar with a lightweight MPA chassis I may end up going with 6.5 PRC but would like to do 7mm PRC
Interestingly enough, I really liked my LabRadar and had no issues with it. I was using a recoil sensor pretty early and I think that helped a ton.
But the new Garman is just so much smaller. It’s hard not to like it better just for that fact, alone.
I know I for one would you pick up one of those Tikkas in 7mm PRC.
All of my tikka’s have treating me really well.
It wouldn’t be so popular if they weren’t good quality for the money.
Following the thread to see if there’s any other 7mm PRC that people like.
I would love to try a second to...
I’ve taken lots of predators with 556/223 recently I’ve been using heavy bullets in a 6 ARC and that knocks them down crazy fast way out there. Both rounds have been phenomenal for me.
I’m lucky enough to be able to hunt in Oregon, so there’s lots of opportunities to get into some areas that are way out there. The deeper in you get the more elk, the bonus is very few men want to work that much for their meat.
