    Idaho Spring Bear

I've been seeing bears in the snow while snowmobiling. They are out, especially with the warm weather we're having now.

Almost forgot. Get a wolf tag. The wolf population is unfortunately healthy.

    Sidearm for Lion?

Lions are relatively thinned skinned and fairly easy to kill. Your 40 is plenty as long as you can shoot accurately.

    Spot and stalk mountain lion

I live on Northern Idaho and kill a cat most years. Often when hunting deer or elk I see them. If I find a fresh kill I'll set up a blind. Occasionally while calling coyotes a cat will come in. If you find a fresh track in the snow you may be able to kill one. There's plenty around, but with the...

    Idaho Unit 6 OTC

I was the last outfitter to operate in unit 6. I can tell you that if your expecting to see herds of elk you'll be disappointed. However, there are small groups of elk to be found, usually 3 or 4 together. Find the thickest most remote patch and you'll find elk. There are tons of hunters but...

    Wolf Crowd Funding??

I've trapped for over 40 yrs. and hunted and trapped in unit 6, used to own an outfitting there. I'm in contact with several good trappers in St.Maries. Calder and Avery. Unless you have a snow go and are willing to trap in the snow your chances are slim. One of the good trappers, the Harpole...

    Any Idaho electricians on here

I taught the NEC in adult education so I was always in the code anyway. I never took the journeyman test, but I've been told the big difference is the Master's has more load calculations. Plenty of examples in the book, you'll be ok.

    Any Idaho electricians on here

I've taken the master's test in Idaho and passed it. Don't let the time worry you, it's plenty long enough. Go through and answer what you can first. Then look for the others in the NEC. Any questions that you can't answer write them down to work on later if you need to. Fair test, you should do...

    PA rifle opener

Good day for us. My son killed a nice wide 8 pointer and my grandson killed his first deer, a fork horn. He's 12 and loves the woods. Only problem we have is we lease 300acres and only 4 of us. Nobody moves the deer.

    Gun safe and contractors.... ?

Most contractors are honest and can be trusted but be careful. We had a crew from Home Depot installatiing carpeting in our house and they made some comments about some saddles I had. The following weekend we went away and

    Gun safe and contractors.... ?

I live on a farm and the only access road is right in front of my neighbors house. He's retired and doesn't miss anything. That and the fact that I have two great Pyrenees that weigh over 130 lbs. and hate strangers make me rather confident that my guns are safe.

Old folks with experience (retirement stuff)

I do work for a realtor that is rated # 7 in the nation. He has an investment opportunity in which he guarantees 8 to 16 percent interest depending on amount and for how long and has never failed to deliver. Pretty sweet.

    Gun safe and contractors.... ?

I have a Liberty safe that weighs 800 lbs. and no way could anyone break into it. I also have insurance. Regarding the contractor, you're asking for trouble.

Shot elk, pass through but no blood trail

If legal consider using a dog. Keep it on leash. Most any dog with a good nose will find it.
