Nightforce NX8 Elevation turret locked up.. help?

Unboxed my new NX8 yesterday, and after about 1/2 turn up on the elevation turret it got really tight, then it went back down maybe 1 turn and it’s seized right up. I took the cap off and messed with the upper clutch but if the clutch is tight and the cap is tight it will not move. Nightforce...

FNG from Ohio

Hello all, another new guy here from Ohio. Been lurking for a couple weeks reading all i can to get ready for my first trip out west. Drew the first rifle elk hunt in Colorado in unit 49 this year, so we will see what happens. :confused:
