    Montanans…any info

Militarizing the IRS. Government telling us what we not only can say, but what we can think. DOJ openly attacking political targets. FBI and CIA (among others) working with the Democrat Socialist Party and their global masters to sell out the nations sovereignty. A sound asleep "woke" armed...

    Sasquatch/Bigfoot/ Steve Isdahl

I would trust something I read off the back of a cereal box far more than anything the "first nations" would say. They have made up shape shifters and winged bebops and monsters of all kind. Sometimes for fun, sometimes how their people long ago tried to explain things that naturally occur...

Grand pa’s old mount, what to do with it?

Nice set of rattle horns. I keep mine hanging in front of a window down stairs in my cave all year so they are displayed so to speak...

Responsible Gun Owner Kills Mall Shooter

All I can say is, thank God for that young man carrying ad stopping that murderous punk. My understanding is he fired his pistol 10 times and hit the punk 8 times. Good job!

Money advice for a 19 year old

Marrying generational wealth is a great concept, but remember. Yes you can marry more money in 5 minutes than you can make in a lifetime, but you can also in 5 minutes marry more misery than you could otherwise make in a lifetime. Marry for love only, and don't be blinded by the little head...

    2022 Ford Lightning

At this point for most Americans removed from metro isolationists an electric car makes as much sense as plugging in and running with a super long extension cord. I know that's a bit sensationalized but it draws the picture. The charging infrastructure is not in place and more important the...

    2022 Ford Lightning

The grid as it is can not handle a majority of citizens driving E vehicles. That needs to change, along with charging station availability of course. We're a long ways out from both. The government is forcing the issue with the manufacturer directly and indirectly. Of course, the real...

How long have you been at your current job?

40 years this June. It was a summer job while I was still in college. Two guys a year or two younger than me have been here a tad longer since they were working part time in high school. We call the place the Hotel California. It's not a hotel by the way

Good news for Ebiker users on public land.

Makes sense. Every state is different though. In Montana the "trail heads" are often 4 miles or more from the gated road. So you have to walk a road down below the mountain you could drive a truck on for 4 miles before you get to the trail head.

Good news for Ebiker users on public land.

Every state is different. In Montana where I hunt many of the gated roads are just that, roads. Wide enough for two trucks to meet and pass with base enough to support trucks just like any road. They used to be open to vehicle traffic and could still support it. The locals all have horses or...

Good news for Ebiker users on public land.

I don't know but I heard Montana is going to replace its "No Motorized" signs on gated roads with "No Mechanized" signs. Meaning not even pedal bikes will be allowed. Not sure if that's just being talked about or is in action already...

Good news for Ebiker users on public land.

No, he went by pretty fast in semi-darkness. By the time I came out at the end of the day no vehicle parked at either gate but mine. I wish it was legal, but I understand why it's not.

Good news for Ebiker users on public land.

I was in Montana last November walking down a gated trail (no motorized) in the dark of the morning before sunup. Suddenly happened to look behind me and slowly here came a floating light, no sound. I stood off to the side and an ebike came by. He saw me when he got along side and increased...

    MT drawing results are posted

Good luck to all who have drawn. It's just gotten too expensive for me to justify. I got hooked on bowhunting 410 on private land and can't justify the fee which has doubled. I have limited time, no time for scouting and a lone hunter. Just doesn't work anymore. Had a brother in Missoula...

    Creepy experiences in the backcountry

Politics are the most important aspect hunters and outdoorsmen are facing. You either become involved, or you let leftists dictate the future of the sport. Whiners never are able to figure that out.....
