I was hoping the WindPro would take the place of my fanatic Lite. The fanatic lite doesn’t block wind either. Guess I’ll go with the guide jacket. Just want a bit of wind blocking for earlier season hunts before I go to the proximity
If you have a down jacket and the Kenai and wear them together, then I think a wind blocking shell is what would be needed to lock in the warmth of those jackets. Sitka Jetstream or Stratus. Both completely windproof and quiet.
Gunmetal hood less Kenai Ultra
size large
some pulling in collar from my beard and a few tiny pulling marks around the jacket which I tried to capture in the photos.
$150 TYD or best offer.
Thanks. I don’t have the mountain jacket yet. I am still deciding on a top jacket. I wore my Pnuma 3L rain jacket this year and it did well, but looking for another option possibly that doesn’t have a hood and has a chest pocket.
Anybody wearing the Sitka mountain jacket over a puffy just for the Camo and windproof properties?
I have built a good layer system for November WI whitetail hunting with some baselayer, heated vest and a down puffy but need a wind blocking outer layer and prefer it to be thin and light...
Pnuma 3L rain jacket that I just bought is the quietest waterproof jacket I have ever had. I don’t yet know how it will be when it’s cold but it is quiet in the house.
Thanks. Arm pits and chest a bit smaller would be ok. But sleeves is really what I am hoping is a bit bigger or at least the same. I might just have to order and try it myself.
