Just like everything else though it wont be long and you will be able to get a perfectly effective one for a reasonable price. Just like range finders and binos.

    IDFG survey 2024

I would say all of the above except aerial, but who knows there is probably someone with thermal setup on a drone. I think its becoming pretty common. As to @CorbLand comment, wouldnt you say that is essentially spotlighting? That's my issue with it, is spotlighting is illegal so why should...

    Spartan Forge thoughts?

Digging up this thread again. Anyone have any experience with their Lidar? Specifically Idaho? I see they have a 30%off BF code. I use LIDAR at work, but I dont have access to areas I hunt with it. Thoughts/reviews much appreciated!

    Idaho wolf hunting

Yeah I have located some since the class. I would say their is nothing easy about locating wolves, but the class definitely, opens your eyes to what to look for when deciding where to go hunt them. I tell people 80%+ of the battle is finding them.

    Do you hunt from home?

I am primarily sleeping at home while hunting archery elk in September and whitetails or mule deer in November and at home for sure for bears. Occasionally the neighbor and I will pack up a wall tent and go hunt late season elk or mule deer.

I took the masterclass when it first came out. Its worth the money, Tom is very experienced in wolf hunting and I picked up some nuggets that I have incorporated in my wolf hunting adventures. Tom is also very open to talk to about questions or scenarios you may have as you go about the class...
