Take about deflating... Was super excited with the new Tundra, been waiting for a more fuel efficient version for years to only have crazy pricing. What a bummer! Not in a position to get one right now anyways, but curious to see how the pricing is going to affect their sales. No way the Tundra...
Another big vote for Salomon, I've had the same pair of XA Pro for several years now and my use fits your exact description. Hiking, wearing around town, etc. Next pair will be the same. Also, zero issues with the pull cord lace system.
I'm debating what I should do with BORR as well. Any insight or recommendation from you or anyone else that wants to weigh in? I expect the O&G sector will turn around again, but will BORR?
Top of my list and I've been "patiently" waiting to see what the next generation will be. Part of me wanted to pull the trigger on the current gen just based off reliability alone, but the fuel mileage was a deal breaker. Excited to see this new generation!
Unfortunately I did. I know it'll pop back up but after averaging down a couple times I'm still red... Gradually learning from you all but still more to learn. Looking to get out once it bounces back.

Guy could be legit, but based on the circumstances not a chance I'd bother pursuing that deal. Money should always be cleared before item is sent, no question. As others have mentioned, it could turn into a total cluster and just isn't worth it.
I'm a sweater as well and at the end of the day you can minimize it as much as possible, but you'll always deal with it. No magic as far as I'm aware. Apologize if I missed whether you are day hunting or going in for multiple days. If one day at a time, synthetic does wick better than merino but...
Not discounting orange shirts, though not common from what I've seen in the hunting community, but the beauty of the vest is layering versatility. Hot outside, rock a t-shirt and your vest. Weather gets colder, throw that same vest over a long sleeve or even a jacket. If you only had that...
Hey all! Been lurking for a while as I'm relatively new to the hunting scene but a wealth of knowledge on here. Hoping to keep learning and pass it on myself!
