I have one and will be sending back to Alamo shortly. Experiencing very heavy bolt lift while running factory nosler ammo. The action is butter other than that. I’m sure APR will take care of the issue.
This gun has seen very few rounds. My dad bought it 10+ years ago and has sat in the safe as we would always grab for lower recoiling rifles.

I have an APR on order with the new VL action and am optimistic. Alamo mentioned it is butter smooth and its closest relative would be the defiance anti. Should have it within the next couple months and I’ll report.
Also have a Seekins ph2 which I can compare to.
I will likely be shooting QAD exodus heads again this year. 415 grain arrow. Would like to be a tad heavier but am handicapped with a short draw length.
I have mounted my scopes as low as possible in the past, but am not opposed to mounting higher if it feels comfortable. As others have said, personal preference.
