Thanks for the replies guys, I’m fairly open when it comes to budget. I would rather be closer to $5K than $10K and do understand the difference. One reason I was looking at NM is the draw system and the chance to get a decent tag though an outfitter. I realize the odds are still low, but...

Outfitter Recommendation

Looking to book an Elk hunting trip, preferably archery. I am leaning toward New Mexico, but am completely open to any ideas. I have never booked a trip with an outfitter, and the choices are somewhat overwhelming. I’ve been elk hunting once in my life, so do not need to 350+ bull or anything...

Yeah, I was just browsing around the site and noticed there are quite a few guys from around here. I love these sites, I can't believe how many good people you can meet, not to mention all the good info. The hunting community is full of good people. I have one more hunting season in Washington...

Thanks again fellas, I'm stationed at McChord but, I live in Orting. I'm not sure you will be seeing a Bull, haven't made my mind up a 100% but I'm thinking about hunting eastern Washington for cows and spikes, when I don't get drawn for a bull tag. I belive it will be an all around better hunt...
