Usually I have enough water and don't need refills when I'm out hunting but when I do I don't filter. Part of the reson is because I don't have anything to filter. I should get something to filter it.
I'm ticked off at the gov. I'm gonna start buying AR's. The government doesn't know what guns mean to us. But I'm glad that I live where I live cause the Sherrif is saying that our county will be able not abide by those laws.

Where I hunt we usually shoot Canadians. What would you say is the best weather for a morning goose hunt? I would say a low fog, snow and cold weather but what do you think?
Keep it on. I think they look way cooler when in velvet. If you can shoot them when they have half the velvet that is the coolest. They look all nasty. When saving them I think the only thing you need to keep them away from are beetles. Those aren't good for you antlers, oh and mice. They chew...
To keep our meat cool we hang it up in a tree from the pick up and make sure they don't touch. We don't bone out our meat either. Keeping it in the bone seems to keep it cool longer during the day. And it saves time which it seems like you need.
