I have a 2016 Hoyt Defiant that is in non shooting order. The lower right limb has a crack in it so will need to be replaced. I contacted Hoyt about this and they do sell the limbs at a cost of $250 for all four if I remember correctly. I have since moved on and bought a new bow so its not worth...
Ive got a peax and also the one linked above. The sofirn is a great headlamp and I use it for work but I think the peax is better. The peax seems little brighter and also has the red-light which is important to me for hunting. The battery has been great on both brands for me though.
I have a golf ball under my desk that I roll my foot out on while at the computer, focusing on both the arch and heel. Not pleasant feeling but makes a big difference for me when I do it consistently.
Truth is I've never shot 80 vs 85 back to back so can't say. My number one reason is that I hunt out of state each year and some states have an 80% let off law. While I don't think that there are wardens driving around looking to get you for your let off, I do try stay within the regs. My second...
Ive had a Lift 33 for a month now. I upgraded from a 2016 Hoyt defiant 30". Probably been averaging around 40 arrows a day with it. I really disliked the engage grip when I first got it and was badly torquing the bow left on shots. Once I swapped that out for the ultra view the bow clicked for...
I was around 23k in line. It took about three hours to get to me. I was after archery mule deer only and had 6 units rank ordered that I was interested in. I wound up with my 5th choice as all of the others were sold out already.
Im no doctor but I think you are correct that your resting heart rate is so low from lots of zone two cardio. I keep track of mine and do a lot of training for long distance running. First thing in the morning I'm between 35 and 42. By mid day its usually around 50-55.
From what I have read on...
I made the same switch that you are looking to do a year ago. I went from an icon pro 5200 to SG x curve with a sky talus 6900. Honestly don't have anything horrible to say about the Kuiu but it is built to be more ultralight and when I had heavy loads it was pretty uncomfortable. The Stone hip...
Im assuming this is about archery because that's the category its in. I think most guys don't use them because of the conditions you find yourself in while hunting. Any rain or dirt that gets on the lens could be a real problem in the heat of the moment.
Ive shot a handful of animals with the exodus head. All have been good blood trails and no problems except one. The only time that I got no blood was a cow elk that I hit a little high but she still went down about 60 yards from where I shot. You can see in the photo it made a good hole but was...
I put a S type carabiner on my waist belt of my pack. If using trekking poles I will hook the straps on there so they don't fall over when doing something. I also hook my bow on there if I want to glass something quickly while walking.
