Looking at the kifaru duplex light and a 22 mag day pack. With this combo there’s no load shelf/panel that goes on the frame. With the frame being open, what keeps the meat from pressing through the skeleton frame against your back?
Friend of mine recommended trek poles to me a couple of years ago. Best $30 I ever spent. Coming down steep stuff, they are extremely useful. On flat long walks not so much, but they aren’t in the way either. Doubles as a rifle shooting stick when you need.
