Thanks for the info. I guess I chose the fanatic hoody for the great reviews and because it has hand pockets. Hopefully the fit is alright.
I was also debating between getting a kiln hoody or furnace QZ. Fanatic hoody and stratus would provide the hood though, I guess.
Since you have so much experience with both brands, would you mind telling me what you think of this clothing system?
bottoms - FL fuse long john, Furnace Zip Off, corrugate Guide pants, Sitka Stratus bibs
tops - FL Wick LS Crew, Furnace QZ, Sitka Fanatic Hoody, Celcius Midi and Stratus Jacket...
Would you ever layer the Fanatic Hoody over the First Lite Furnace, or do these pieces kind of replace each other in a system? Building a whitetail hunting system. Thinking FL wick LS crew, furnace, then fanatic hoody, celcius midi and stratus jacket... for a full season system.
Thats a valid point. I’ve survived with the clothes I’ve worn to this point, so one solid outer layer could be all I really need. I just like the more streamlined look and feel. Less bulk and more freedom of movement. I don’t have a western set up to wear underneath though. Hence trying to set...

In Tennessee, we do have humidity, especially early season. Temp ranges from mid 80s in the early...
Sorry to post another one of these, but continuing to research things is getting old! I mainly tree stand hunt, bow and rifle, in Indiana and Tennessee, and I'm putting together my first "technical" hunting clothing layering system. The walk in is not very far at the moment, maybe a quarter to...
Does anyone choose Sitka over Kuiu for outerwear/insulation or foul weather?
I'm just beginning to build my hunting kit, and it's obvious most prefer FL for the base layers... but what base layer pieces do yall get? Just a set of the Wick top and bottom, or mid/heavy weight pieces also?
I'm just starting to put together a list of equipment to buy. I've seen posts similar to this in the past, but haven't been able to locate them again. Anyone else have opinions on "best in class" products? Still trying to figure out what all I may need to get. I'd like as condensed a set as...
