We run Yamaha's at work, about 10 outboards total. Would pick em all day over the mercs I've had at other jobs. The Honda generator of outboards in my view.
We have a couple 2013 editions with nearing 1500+ hours still kicking and running the rivers. I'd label it hard use and have worn thru...
In stock supply has been heavily hit by supply chain issues. We have been waiting on a new set of 70hp Yamaha's for work for a full year. Talked last week to local dealer and said things are still 8+ months out for any new orders. Fingers crossed we get our set that we ordered last fall this...
Give this a listen. So much hope and truth.
'Theres so much more to life than we've been told
It's full of beauty that will unfold
And shine like you struck gold my wayward son
That deadweight burden weighs a ton
I go down to the river and let it run
Wash away all the things you've done'
I had little luck with keeping ticks off my dog until he was old enough for Bravecto. Topical treatments just didn't seem to prevent nor last. I guess I'm no help for this life stage but couldn't be happier with Bravecto. I recommend adding it to the list of treatments to look into
Got my Silex last week, was very impressed and surprised at the room and usable space. Went with the stove jack and no nest as well. Cuts a huge amount of weight vs my old set up!
Guessing this within KY waters? I'm trying to remember the various regs for ohio river states.
Neat you've seen a bunch of tagged fish. Tagging fish was always fun, recaptures where always awesome and learning about where it came from
Thanks for safety tips, good to have this kind of input. I had thoughts of creating a flat floor with plywood, and using the space underneath for this type of storage as my trucks floor has the raiders section for the transmission. Stuff I won't access often, but has a nice home.
I will look...
Ripstopbytheroll.com offers samples of fabric. I highly recommend narrowing down what performance you are wanting amd then getting a couple samples to see if your skin likes it. That site has a page that explains different material and manufacturing process as well.
I went with a different...
I have a very similar set up. I picked up a 4 inch tri-fold mattress from Milliard. 4 inch thick, 31" wide, 75" long and made the bunk to match. Fits perfect in my truck bed and never once feel the bunk, even side sleeping at 230lbs.
Plenty of usable space underneath (I stick 3 totes under)...
I'm leaning storage as I made a nice elevated sleeping platform last year. Thinking dedicated space for roadside needs/tools like an air compressor, jack, tools, tow strap ect. The platform in the bed fits a memory foam tri-fold mattress and 3 storage bins underneath
I have a 06 extended cab silverado and never use the backseat. I took it out and man it feels like there's some untapped potential for storage/build out much like people do to the bed of their truck with a topper. My dog loves the extra space and think it could really be useful. Its my daily...
I went the used chest freezer route. As cheap as coleman extremes with all the benefits of having chest freezer space at home and ability to run off a generator on long trips.
In 2019, I tagged out and had meat hauled to the truck by day 2 of an 8 day hunt and spent the next few days taking...
I've been lucky enough to do some work with paddlefish and sturgeon with state, federal and commercial fisherman. Paddlefish are amazing fish. They can't travel 1000s of miles over a lifetime to reach spawning grounds.
One in particular sticks out...we tagged this fish near St Louis, Missouri...
