Should I split my hunting time?

Good luck getting that tag. I would pick one chunk of time if possible. Leaving for several days can set you back finding where the animals are.

Running Shoes

Brooks and Altras have both been good for me. Depends on your feet go spend some time with a local shops can get you lined out. It is all about the fit

Sawtooth is below objective and difficult to get a tag. Weiser has good elk numbers and good opportunity for any elk.
