They are more in the north west half of the state for sure. I’ve seen them as Far East as valentine. The numbers are so low out there though. I’ve seen them around ogallala. I’ve never hunted Frenchman so I don’t know anything about the population of antelope there. The point is the population...
It’s not about raising the price and making hunting less accessible for the everyday working class American. It’s about making more public lands available and more habitat available for the animals. It’s about improving herd numbers and increasing opportunity across the states for the average...
Yes there are. They’re all over the western half of the state in low numbers. But you have to remember that Nebraska is one of the states with the least amount of public land in the country. It’s less than 3%. In comparison Idaho is 61%, colorado is about 40%. People think nebraksa is some...
That's good to know. Thanks for sharing. I'm a Ne resident and have been doing the archery antelope hunt for the last three years. Last year was absolute bonkers on the amount of nonresident hunters to the point where multiple people were going after one antelope at the same time so I think...
Where did you find this information though? I've been looking all over the game and parks website trying to find out permit sales and I can't find them for archery antelope.
These are good shoes I have a pair I hunt with. They run very narrow though so if you have wide feet stay away from them.

I’m looking for a pant that I can wear from mid September with no under layers all the way to late season with a layer or two under or over it it that’s semi breathable, semi waterproof, and doesn’t catch every burr in the whole entire county. Any recommendations?

Anybody have any theories on why the left side was all weird? It had a double brow, thick base, kicker coming off the back, and weird drop tine thing coming off the base. Think it could have been injured the opposite side the year before or it just grew like that?
This year was one of the most incredible and difficult years I’ve ever had hunting. I’ve been hunting here in Nebraska the entire season since day 1 of archery September 1st solely on public land. The first sit I saw 2 bucks in velvet, and then a couple more hunts later I saw a few more deer in...
Hey guys I’m in my first couple years of whitetail hunting and I’m seeing a decent amount of deer, a few bucks here and there but nothing during mid-day. I almost always see all my movement in the evening. I have done a few all day sits at spots where I see good deer movement in the evening but...
No matter what you MUST stay out of sight if you are within 800 yards of them. Not even the slightest peek over a hill or around a corner with your head. They will see you. Their eyesight is literally insane. Mark the spot where they are, and stalk them completely out of sight

I go to college in Nebraska. Just for reference 2% of the state is public land. About 30% of it has mule deer. Idaho is 70% public land. We deer hunt it because it’s where we live not because it’s our first choice. The areas where the muleys live on public land can get pretty over run. I’ve been...
What I’ve taken from all of you guys is, get in as close as possible out of sight, pop up a decoy as close as possible, go on lots of stalks, grab some buddies, have some fun while you’re at. Can’t wait to make some memories and have a blast this fall, thanks for all the responses guys!

Nothing high fence at all. to be honest I don’t like to do anything guided that I can’t do diy. Obviously like a dall sheep or a stone sheep hunt would have to be with a guide or resident but for me having all the pressure on myself to perform makes the success so much sweeter. Also if the hunt...
I want to hear guys experiences and advice on hunting speed goats with bows. Best tips and tactics, and also decoy use if you guys do that.
