Hey guys,
I'm trying to learn the KSL or NTS style of shooting and I'm having issues with my bow shoulder coming along for the ride when I rotate my core and then I never achieve good alignment. Has anybody else struggled with this? Does anybody have any remedies or fixes for this? Much obliged...
I can't help but feel like it is. If you're an eastern hunter many of your potential hunting grounds are bought up and leased out to the biggest bidder. Out west, tag demand is outpacing supply rapidly. Our most common big game animal in the west (the mule deer) is just kinda barely hanging on...
Bare shaft and fletched arrow at about 25 yards. .400 spine gold tip blems, 30 inches long with a 50 grain gold tip fact weight insert and a 125 grain point. 475 grain total arrow weight out of a 46 pound at 26.5 inches draw Martin Hunter. In a little less than 3 months I will be hunting Utah...
I was just curious. Out of all the guys that try out traditional archery how many do you think stick with it long term vs how many give it up fairly quick and go back to a wheel bow? I barely even know any guys that tried it out in the first place. There's not much interest in it around here.
I have a RH mathews halon 6 with 70 pounds limbs that I would be willing to trade for the right longbow. It comes with qad ultra HD dropaway rest, mathews 5 arrow quiver, 5 pin truglo, stabilizer and hard case. Looking for a longbow of similar value on the 55 to 60 pound range. Can send pictures...
Just curious about what is common for 3 under gappers. Would like to know the following things:
What is your arrow length?
What is your approximate fps?
What is your point on distance?
What are your gaps at various distances?
Are you happy with your current setup or are you still trying to...
I'm looking at scheduling some time when I'm in the area during the first week of October. I just enrolled in the solid archery mechanics course as well. After a year and half of trying to self teach and still absolutely sucking with very little progress, I figure it is time to start anew and...
For anyone here that has killed one or more elk with a traditional bow I would like to hear from you. Tell me about. Your setup: bow you used, draw weight, arrow weight, broadhead, draw length etc.
I would like to hear about the results: depth of penetration, shot placement and so forth. Thanks...
