    I hunt with a guy that uses one and it certainly hammers. I was considering one but went the 300 PRC route and it is more than enough. How far are you shooting elk? That 300WSM with quality hand loads is perfect elk medicine.

    I was running with his numbers and spitballing for simplicity. It's always worth crunching them though for your situation. Paying 55% is a lot. I would seriously consider looking into how your business is structured and other write offs.

    Those will suit you well. The Kuiu zip off bottoms are also a personal favorite. I think some are on sale right now and while they don't add near the same insulation they are cheap and effective while taking up little space/weight.

    This is definitely a problem with some folks. I'll pick on contractors. They justify buying a new $100K truck when their "old" one is just fine. Instead of having $75K free and clear they spend $100k to "save" $25k.

    The specs seem terrific at 2.9oz and I like the coloring. My Kuiu pad lacks cushion and not waterproof. My folding foam one is a bit of a pain as I like the comfort of 2 them doubled up...
