I know there are a million "pick a tent" threads or "what is better". This will be a bit different.

I have tried self inflating, air chamber and hybrid pillows. Some are better than others. I can be a wrestlers sleeper and sleep on my back/side/belly all in 1 night.
Please list this info in your post:
1 What is your favorite pillow?
2 What is your sleeping position ?
3 Why is that pillow...
Currently running Crispi Nevada but need to go up a size. I figure if I am buy a pair of boots, I might as well ask and see if there is anything else out there that I should consider. Ankle support is a must. Uninsured it a must. Please let me know if you have something worth considering or if I...
I will be going elk hunting in 2023 for the 1st time with a buddy from church. He is turning 70 and does not like to sleep away from the truck.
With that being said, I will be caring a bulk of the weight and do not need much of a bag for the day hunting we will be doing. Wondering what people...
I have a Base / Vestibule LBO that I am looking to sell. Using the tarp/bivy this year and want to get a floored tent for use with the family (we live is snake/ scorpion country).
Issues: small snag on the snow/grass skirt area. It has been patched.
It comes with a handful of straight and...
Looking for some 375 caliber Barnes LRX bullets. Want to see if my rifle likes them. Think it might be the ticket for an Alaskan Caribou or Moose hunt.
I have an Alpine Bivy by Outdoor Research. I have used it for 2 nights in the backyard. This would be great if I was a smaller person. At 235 lbs, this is not an ideal shelter. Especially when you add a 4" air mattress.
Asking $130 shipped if you use f&f or add 3% to cover fees.
I am currently running Crispi Nevada uninsured boots. Best ankle support I have ever had in a boot.
With that said, I see a lot of people using lighter boots don to tennis shoes... is there a lighter boot with equal support or should I suck it up and deal with heavier boots and be confident in...
I live in Central to East Texas and we do not have a lot of tarp camping weather. Lots of snake, scorpions and more than a few mosquitoes!
That said, I like to practice different setups when I can. I did not know the winds were going to get to the 30's with gusts I to the 40's lastnight...
Not sure if it has been discussed but I have not come across it.
Sometimes when you lay on an inflatable pillow, is sounds very noisy as it rubs against your sleeping pad or even just moving your head about. I saw where people were putting there neck gator around the inflatable pillow to keep...
I have the base and vestibule, just looking for the LBO Connecting tarp that goes in the middle to give more room. Let me know what you have.
Thank you.
I am trying to figure out how wide the quilt should be and am not sure of a formula. Having never used/owned a quilt, I am relying on your expertise to help.
(Yes, I know that everyone is different.)
The formula I found online (so it must be true) said to measure from the pad around your body...
I am looking for a simple solution for Hot and Humid camping.
Background: I live in TX. It tends to get a little hot and humid down here. In the summer you hope that it drops to the low 90s temperature wise. We have mosquitoes that mimic pterodactyls and enough snakes to make you not want to...
