Back issues/sciatic nerve

Broke my katadyn hiker pro. Looking for suggestions on new filter.

after using a pump filter for years I switched this year to a Sawyer gravity feed. granted, most of my sheep/caribou hunts are of a base camp style but the ease of hanging a bag of water in a tree is so much nicer than kneeling at a creek and pumping. the biggest plus is that the filter, dirty...

I pulled 3 tags this year! Eklutna archery brown bear, Kenai Mt caribou, JBER archery moose. after an Aug. fly out for sheep the fall should be busy!

What spotter to get for packing out ?

everyone always forgets to include KOWA. when I bought a scope I had a Zeiss, Swarvo, Leica, and Kowa side by side. my eye could not see that much of a difference between them. I went with the KOWA because it was lighter and shorter, not because it was a grand less than the others...

Kids bow recommendation?

if you want to start them on something other than 'wheels', check out BlackRhino bows. they make great youth longbows that they will take back in trade as they grow and need a heavier bow...
