Is there any rain gear better than Kuiu Yukon?

The rain gear I use is neese black rain gear it’s very tough, pretty lightweight and surprisingly quiet in the rain. It also dries pretty quickly. I’ve only used a couple goretex pants and didn’t care for them they both wet out in about 6 hours of heavy rain walking thru brush. Imo the expensive...

Danner Pronghorns

Pronghorns are junk imo. I’ve had one pair with a caulk sole lasted 2 weeks falling timber. This was 10 years ago I think it’s a safe bet they have gotten worse since then from what I’ve heard

Boot laces

I use tuna cord knots stay tight and lasts for a long time. Buy a roll of it and and it is pretty useful for lots of things

How do you spend your time between morning/night hunts?

I live on the north coast I’ve noticed that a lot of times the elk that get more hunting pressure sometimes go to spots where the wind is more swirly or inconsistent. Like you said south wind sucks unless it’s either really light or blowing 20+ East wind is fairly consistent but don’t get it...
