Band aides, gauze, duct tape, etc. for cuts. blah blah... the usual.. Knowledge and a SPOT or InReach RX Anti-nausea if you can get it and OTC anti-diarhea. If you get the squirts from both ends and can't hydrate your hunts over. Mine have saved two different partners on two different hunts. -

AK splits up the available tags between residents and non residents. These two tags (1 each area) are for non resident hunters only to apply for. DS232 the same hunt for residents is DS231, 6 tags available. DS241 24 tags for residents. -

I can't imagine trying to take a leak in a ziplock or a bottle. Tried the bottle one time. Much easier (and safer!) to crawl outside. It's not like a guy is at 20,000ft on Everest! -

Introducing a puppy into the family with an older dog
Get the pup. Don't worry about it. Dogs are pack animals, they work it out. We have a 12 yo female Dachsund and added a brand new puppy last year. We've always had 2 or 3 dogs. No biggie. Enjoy your new pup!- Snyd

Plastic/double boots
The Lowa Civettas (green ones) are svelt and lighter. Nothing like the Scarpas, Koflachs, etc. The Lowa Extremes (red ones or black for UK Military) have a different liner more of a winter liner for warmth. Same shell though. The Koflachs for me had a narrow toe and wide heel. Civetta shells fit... -

Lowa Civettas are great if they fit your feet like any other boot. I've killed a few rams and packed out a few more in them. Not one blister in 100's of miles of mountain hunting. I put a plastic sack or oven bag between the liner and shell. Always have dry feet. Glacier socks when needed like... -

Are there any legal concerns (state or feds) regarding charging for your guide services versus "selling" Alaska wildlife? It seems that in the world of guided hunts, Trophy Fees are charged for privately owned animals when the hunter kills the critter on the private ranch, not "publicly owned"... -

Your "must haves" in your sheep pack for 10-12 days in
Anti Diahrea and Anti Nausea meds. OTC Anti Diahrea works. RX Anti Nausea if you can get it. A bad case of either one leads to dehydration, exhaustion, etc. and the hunts over.
