All autos are comfortable for the most part. My buddy has a Benelli 12 that has a recoil spring in it. Makes it feel like a 20g unless he has turkey loads in it.
With that budget there are a ton of great options. Tikka or bergara have good price points... Some say that the bergaras QC is not as good as it once was. I have both and love both. Get some good rings. The scope options mentioned above are all solid. Grab some ammo and see what it likes to...
At 200 I would personally just holdover. My holdovers get iffy around the 350 to 400 range and I start to dial . That is with a 200 yard zero. Caliber choice also matters. My 7 comes screaming out of the barrel but my 35 remington is heavy slow.... like me...
I have both. Pluses and minuses to both. I love the canyon pounder but if you need to re-sight it , it is a little bit involved with allen wrenches. I love the middle pin as the slider.
Boonie is much easier to adjust on a macro level. Spott Hogg has never let me down. Plus changing tapes...
I've never had a tracker or any other aluminum boat , but I've had several Rangers..... I would pass on this . I doubt it would have any leak problems but the performance may be an issue ( when not on plane)
Also, always have the boat inspected (motor too w/compression test) before even going...
I've had scopes go out of zero from my own fault while hiking. Also have had rings come loose. I now re-torque before every trip. I have also switched to different brands of scopes for anything that involves hiking. The scopes that came out of zero... only came out from my own fault. They were...
I switched to NF and Zeiss after I had several scopes lose zero after me losing footing, slipping, sliding, overall being a clutz. I don't notice the weight difference at all. If 5 oz difference is going to bother me I will eat my granola bar earlier in the day. However, I am certainly not...
I could be wrong on this but during the time the Fury was available, I believe they were all made in Canada. I have one and its stamped in Canada. Shoots well and never had an issue with it.
Again, I could be wrong. I thought they stopped selling that model shortly after I got mine.
Told the wife how I felt a lot sooner than I did. It took me 20 years to find out she was crazy about me too. Maybe it happened that way for a reason. Either way, I’m happy now
Definitely build them yourself. You care more about how well they’re built than the guy at the shop. It’s not hard to build arrows. The biggest tip I learned when I started was after the shaft is cut and squared, assemble everything before you glue it , and spin it again to make sure it’s...
I shot one with a 28 nos a couple of years ago . The ELD-X left the most devastating wound I’ve ever seen. I could fit both of my fists in the exit hole. Penetration is fine with that bullet.
I shoot .204's
Just the vanilla victory RIP's. I get a dozen for practice and a dozen for hunting. Honestly, most of the .003's can be cut to as good as the .001's. I just use the stainless inserts that come with it. I don't hot melt them. I actually use epoxy.
With so many configurations and...
I have one of the old Fierce Fury's but it was made in Canada not Utah. Mine has had zero issues and definitely shoots sub 1/2 MOA with the recommended round. My buddy however has one of the newer ones made in Utah. He had all of the same issues with the extractor as everyone else. He also had...
If you wrap the ultraview grip with lizard skin tape (the thick one) it feels amazing at full draw. Plus if you're sweating you won't have any slip. I thought the UV grip was great until I wrapped it. 100% better wrapped.
Currently the rifle isn't as good as a Savage walmart rifle/scope combo. It makes me wonder how they developed a load for it... They would have caught those problems if they would have shot it. How do they develop a load and determined the OAL of the round without shooting it? How did they...
If your compensation is actually defined as pro/sal I would assume you should be able to get the money as long as you hit the goal during the time period that was stated in your contract. If not, I doubt it. Even if you could I don't think it would be worth getting a lawyer involved. If your...
