    What is your biggest public land pet-peeve?

    It bugs me when I find atv/utv and snowmobile tracks on an area I hunt that’s basically a mile from any access point. I work hard to get back away from the crowd just to find that someone has been cruising around on old trails that were there from when the land was private.

    hot pack canning-anyone grill or smoke their meat cubes to add flavor?

    I know this is an old thread but has anyone tried it yet? I usually add a dash of salt or pepper in with mine and cold pack it then can. I leave connective tissues on the meat and even silver skin, it seems to have a more flavorful stock when the process is complete.

    I am looking at getting a satellite communication device like one of the two in the headline and was wondering if anyone has tried multiple and can give some pros/cons. I was looking at just getting the inreach mini or SPOT X or gen4 messenger. Any help would be appreciated.
